About the Program

IV Iron Infusions at Mountain Ridge Wellness

Mountain Ridge Wellness operates Maple Ridge's only IV therapy clinic, offering therapeutic iron infusions for patients with confirmed iron deficiency anemia. Our program is led by RN Amber MacLean, with Dr. Mohamad Ali, ND providing medical oversight, prescription review, and co-signing of infusion protocols.

Iron infusions are appropriate for patients who have not responded adequately to oral iron supplementation, cannot tolerate oral iron due to gastrointestinal side effects, or require faster correction of iron deficiency than oral therapy allows.

Sessions take place in a private treatment room over 90 to 160 minutes. Patients are monitored throughout by our RN, with emergency protocols on-site.

Appropriate candidates include: patients with iron deficiency anemia (IDA) confirmed by lab work, those who have failed or cannot tolerate oral iron, post-surgical patients with significant blood loss, patients with inflammatory bowel disease, celiac, or other malabsorption conditions, and postpartum patients with severe iron depletion.

Session duration: 90 to 160 minutes in a private treatment room. No downtime required. Patients may return to normal activities immediately.

Location: Unit 204, 11939 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC. Ample parking available. Clinic hours Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, alternating Saturdays 9am–3pm.
