Women's Reproductive Health Support

Acupuncture has a long history of supporting women's reproductive health, from easing menstrual pain to helping regulate complex hormonal conditions. Birthe works with each patient individually, tailoring treatment to their specific cycle, symptoms, and goals. She also coordinates closely with our on-site naturopath where lab work and hormone testing are beneficial.

PCOS

Polycystic ovary syndrome affects hormonal balance, ovulation, and cycle regularity. Acupuncture supports PCOS by helping regulate the menstrual cycle, reduce androgen levels, and improve insulin sensitivity alongside lifestyle and naturopathic care.

Endometriosis

Acupuncture can help manage the chronic pelvic pain, cycle pain, and inflammation associated with endometriosis. Many patients experience meaningful reduction in pain and improved quality of life with regular treatment.

PMS & PMDD

Mood changes, irritability, breast tenderness, bloating, and cramping in the days before menstruation. Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system and hormonal fluctuations that drive premenstrual symptoms.

Irregular Cycles & Cycle Regulation

Inconsistent cycle length, missed periods, or unpredictable ovulation. Acupuncture supports the body's natural rhythm by working with the hormonal axis to encourage more regular and predictable cycles over time.

Menstrual Pain & Cramping

Dysmenorrhoea (painful periods) is one of the most common reasons women seek acupuncture. Birthe uses acupuncture, moxibustion, and heat therapy to address both acute pain and the underlying patterns driving it cycle to cycle.

Fertility Support

Acupuncture to support natural fertility, IVF cycles, and hormonal preparation for conception. Birthe works alongside fertility clinics and our on-site naturopath, Dr. Mohamad Ali, ND, to support patients through their fertility journey.
