Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy — Class 3B Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
Class 3B Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive, painless treatment that uses therapeutic wavelengths of light to accelerate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and support long-term healing at the cellular level. Unlike high-intensity surgical lasers, Class 3B laser does not generate heat or cut tissue — making it safe, gentle and deeply restorative.
When light from the laser is absorbed by the cells, it stimulates the mitochondria — the energy powerhouse of the cell — to produce more ATP (cellular fuel). With increased ATP production, cells repair faster, inflammation decreases, and pain sensitivity is reduced.
Laser therapy is especially effective for:
- Joint pain (knee, hip, shoulder, spine, hands and feet)
- Ligament and tendon injuries (sprains, strains)
- Rotator cuff & shoulder dysfunction
- Plantar fasciitis & Achilles pain
- Carpal tunnel & repetitive strain
- TMJ dysfunction
- Arthritis and degenerative joint conditions
- Nerve irritations and chronic inflammation
- Post-surgical healing support
Benefits of Class 3B LLLT:
- Accelerates healing and tissue regeneration
- Reduces inflammation without medication
- Promotes circulation and oxygen delivery
- Decreases pain sensitivity at the nervous-system level
- Safe for chronic and acute injuries
Treatments are comfortable, relaxing and typically last 5–15 minutes.
Laser therapy is often used in combination with chiropractic, massage and movement therapy to enhance overall recovery outcomes.
